Thank you for creating this site.

Unfortunately, I do not have anything to share that is sourced directly from Korean language media (and also nothing that is actually representative of 'yellow journalism'), but I'm hoping that these links will spark some discussion.

There was this positive article ("Easing legal hurdles as to the entry of global talent into Korea"):

http://www.korealaw.com/node/115

Apparently, there were plans to create an 'open-door policy' for 'talented' foreigners (including English teachers) and to allow dual citizenship.

Whatever happened about that?

Then there was this less than encouraging article ("Migrant Workers Complain of New Immigration Law"):

http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/nation/2007/12/117_15769.html

I'm also curious as to what became of this legislation.

What I would like to see, is how these two issues were presented by the Korean media.

Were these issues ignored?

If not, how were they portrayed by the Korean media?

I hope some people who are bilingual (in Korean and English) will help by providing links and/or translations of related articles from the Korean media.

I'm sorry that I have only questions and no answers.
